This Residential Proposal for Toronto was produced using a combination of Grasshopper and Rhinoceros 3D to control multiple iterations. The script I wrote calculated floor area, floor plan drawing, and elevation detail by controlling the massing of the object off of 4 multi-directional sliders. The aim of this process was to complete as may iterations as quickly as possible to achieve the formal exploration, while constantly maintaining the minimum floor area required by the developer. Later iterations of the script included environmental analysis for solar exposure. The selected iteration was eventually chosen to be physically modeled through 3D printing technology and laser cut acrylic.
